Our collaboration with the Aschaffenburg Institute for the Blind

This special project is very close to our hearts. It began with a random request from Ms. Wiesner, the head of early childhood education at the Aschaffenburg Institute for the Blind. This request inspired us to start a collaboration specifically focused on the needs of children with delayed or impaired visual development and children without visual perception.

After several visits to the Institute for the Blind and numerous exchanges of ideas with the dedicated staff there, we were able to develop a special product line. This collection is aimed at children who require special support in the areas of perception and development. From the very beginning, the collaboration was characterized by creativity and commitment, and something truly special has emerged that helps the children, parents, and local educators alike.

Our specially designed products playfully promote tactile perception, hearing, and motor development—skills that are crucial for children with visual impairments. We have placed great importance on incorporating feedback and ideas from local professionals into our product development to ensure that our products meet the high standards of early childhood education and provide valuable support to educators in their work.

For us at Jolly Designs, it's a great privilege to be able to support this project with the Institute for the Blind. We're grateful to work with such a dedicated team who work every day to improve the lives of these children. It's a joy that our products can help provide new opportunities for development not only for the children and their families, but also for educators in their important work.
